Tajikistan is experiencing a period of active digital economic development. The number of digital specialists, agencies, entrepreneurs, and IT projects is growing, but the market still lacks international expertise, practical knowledge, and professional platforms for sharing experiences. The state strategy for the development of the digital economy of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2025–2030 places a special emphasis on the development of human capital and professional competencies. Against this backdrop, the need arose to create a modern platform capable of bringing together representatives of the digital industry, business, media, and education. The anniversary International Digital Fest was created as an international educational forum on digital marketing, media, content, and the digital economy.
Problem
Despite the market's growth, the professional community remained fragmented. Most educational events focused on theory and motivational speeches, while audiences needed practical tools, real-world case studies, international experience, and high-quality networking. The project's goal was to create an international platform that would unite specialists, entrepreneurs, brands, agencies, media, and experts around the development of Tajikistan's digital industry, as well as increase interest in digital professions among young people.
Solution
We transformed a local educational forum into an international platform for sharing experiences and professional development. The festival program featured international experts and industry leaders. The event was headlined by Igor Mann, one of the most renowned marketers and business consultants in the Russian-speaking world. Invited international speakers included Sabina Reingold, Bekzod Abduvaliev, Marina Girya, and Berdy Begmenov, who shared practical cases, tools, and experience in business development, marketing, and digital communications. A separate format was "Fuckup Night," featuring open presentations by entrepreneurs and professionals about their mistakes, failures, and lessons learned. To promote the festival, a comprehensive communications campaign was implemented, including digital advertising, PR, media publications, television and radio interviews, outdoor advertising, collaboration with bloggers and influencers, content marketing, partner integrations, and active social media promotion. Information support reached both the professional community and the general public. The project was implemented with the support of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Digital Development Association.
