As part of Sarbast’s brand refresh, red became the new unifying element across the entire product line - a visual symbol of quality. The goal of the campaign was to introduce the updated product design through a full-CGI film and present the red color not simply as a branding device, but as the outcome of a sequence of factors that define the product’s quality. The creative concept was built around a Rube Goldberg machine - a complex chain of interactions between Sarbast products, ingredients, and custom-designed mechanisms.
Problem
The original idea established a strong creative direction, but required significant development to become fully executable in CGI. Our task was to adapt and refine the storyboard, rethink certain interactions between elements, and build a sequence of events that felt both physically convincing and visually engaging. Each mechanism had to do more than simply look impressive - it needed to trigger the next stage of the chain in a logical way while maintaining the right pacing, composition, and focus on the product.
Solution
We developed the mechanics of the entire chain in detail - from the interaction between ingredients and packaging to the construction and behavior of every supporting element. Individual scenes and transitions were reworked to ensure that the whole system functioned as one continuous, coherent process. As a result, the Rube Goldberg machine became more than a visual device. It formed the core narrative structure of the film - a sequence of cause and effect that uses motion, detail, and red accents to lead the viewer toward the central brand idea: Sarbast quality.
Results
The final piece is a dynamic full-CGI film in which the refreshed product design is seamlessly integrated into the visual story. A complex system of mechanisms and interactions was transformed into a clear, cohesive chain of events, while red became the recurring visual motif connecting the products, the movement, and the campaign’s key message.
