  • Design Tigers is a new design festival held under the umbrella of Jolbors Festival
Launch of a new professional festival for designers. It gathers the boldest and most agile designers in one place to determine who will be crowned the ultimate design tiger.

Problem

To develop a recognizable identity for the new design festival, referencing the maternal brand Jolbors Festival.

Solution

The festival’s visual language is based on the Jolbors Festival logo — the tiger’s paw. This time, however, the paw is delicately transformed into a pattern for a charming mascot, further developing the concept behind the “design tigers” name. The name references the parent brand: Jolbors means “tiger” in Kyrgyz, making “Design Tigers” a natural and logical extension. The Grand Prix winner receives a luxurious furry designer blanket adorned with tigers — something to keep a designer warm in moments of burnout. The nomination footages resemble Uzbek carpets, where the mascots are woven into ornamental Eastern patterns and then brought to life in vibrant, psychedelic animation.

Results

The release and announcement of the new design festival is scheduled for the end of 2026.
