There are two types of garbage troubles: when the bag breaks and when the bags run out. Our client from Australia saw this as an insight and idea for a business at the intersection between laziness and responsible consumption. Together with them, we developed the packaging design, creative strategy and campaign slogan for the launch of a product whose category traditionally has poor communication and competes for consumers mainly through price offer. Our goal was to create an emotional product that, along with its functional advantages, would carry a strong lifestyle component.
Problem
Bags get torn, bags run out, and trash bags are boring. Identical packaging, identical colors, lack of the slightest opportunity to establish emotional contact with the client at the level of first communication.
Solution
TOSSR is an online-first product designed to be an eye-catcher, standing out from its category. TOSSR addresses all the pain points at once. Heavy-duty bags prevent rips. Delivery subscriptions ensure you never run out. You calculate your monthly consumption on the website, and then the box simply arrives at your door. We built the logo on a sans-serif font: confident, solid, and unpretentious, contrasting with a clean background and minimalist illustrations. The bags themselves were white—in a category dominated by black and gray, white was definitely needed. TOSSR's brand ambassador is a character: a minimalist trash bag in excellent shape. Fit, sturdy, with a bold Australian character. It also supports the slogan: Stupidly Strong. Rough, straightforward, and very Australian.
Results
As a result of entering the market in mid-2026, TOSSR attracted more than a hundred subscribers in the first month, and the average user rating was 4.8 stars out of 5.
