  • MK Lighter
MK is a modern lighter brand entering the Uzbek market. The challenge was to create communication that would feel genuinely relevant to the local audience rather than look like an adaptation of foreign advertising. We therefore built the idea around recognizable cultural codes, national traditions and authentic everyday life in Uzbekistan. The goal was to present a modern brand through a cultural context that feels familiar and meaningful to the audience.

Problem

The key challenge was to make MK recognizable and relevant to the Uzbek audience while preserving the brand’s modern character. We needed a creative idea that could connect the product with local culture and create an emotional response among viewers.

Solution

We turned local culture from a visual background into the core of the creative idea. For MK, we combined the brand’s modern character with recognizable Uzbek cultural codes — traditions, atmosphere and authentic everyday moments. Instead of simply demonstrating the product, we created an emotional story where MK naturally becomes part of a world familiar to the audience. This approach helped localize the brand communication while making it more authentic, culturally relevant and emotionally engaging for Uzbek consumers.

Results

The campaign introduced MK to the Uzbek audience through local cultural codes, creating a more emotional and culturally relevant perception of the brand. The video generated organic attention across digital channels and became part of MK’s local brand
