Folker Wrage

Folker Wrage is the Founder and Owner of wrage / antwort and one of Europe's most experienced creative leaders, with more than 30 years in the communications industry. Throughout his career, he has participated in more than 70 international award juries, including Cannes Lions and Clio Awards, and has repeatedly served as Jury President.

His expertise spans multiple disciplines, including advertising, direct marketing, digital communications, shopper marketing, consulting, and client-side marketing, giving him a comprehensive understanding of modern brand communications.

Folker has held senior leadership positions as Chief Creative Officer for McCann Switzerland, Havas Switzerland, and McCann Turkey, as well as CEO of an independent agency in Georgia, leading creative teams and driving business growth across diverse markets.

He has extensive regional experience throughout Eastern Europe, having worked on projects and served on juries in Belarus, Georgia, Ukraine, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, and Turkey.

As a juror, Folker believes that ego has no place in the judging process. He values fairness, constructive discussion, and objective evaluation, always striving to recognize work based on its creative excellence, strategic value, and overall effectiveness.
